Teenyloop privacy policy
The stories stay on your device. We do not receive your story choices.
Effective 14 September 2026
1. Who we are and what this covers
Teenyloop is provided by Clever Iterations Pty Ltd (ABN 19 695 039 019), New South Wales, Australia. This standalone policy covers the Teenyloop iPhone app, teenyloop.com and Teenyloop support. It explains the information we handle, why, who may receive it, and how to contact us. Other Clever Iterations products have their own policies.
2. Information in the app
Teenyloop does not require an account or child profile. We do not collect names, ages, photos, location, contacts, voice recordings or story choices through the app. The app does not request camera, microphone, photo-library or location access.
The current story and choices are held in memory on your device. Teenyloop does not save a story history or send choices to us. All story text, illustrations and animations are bundled in the app. No advertising, tracking, analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDKs are included. The app does not contain a story-generation service.
3. Apple purchases
Apple processes purchases, payment information, Family Sharing, refunds and purchase restoration under its own terms and privacy policy. Teenyloop uses Apple’s StoreKit to obtain product prices and verify whether your device has access to Pip’s Story Collection. Verification may use Apple services. We do not receive your card details or Apple Account password.
Apple may provide us with sales, financial, download and diagnostic reports through its developer services. Reports may contain transaction or device-related information that Apple makes available under your settings and its policies. Teenyloop does not upload receipts, transaction identifiers or account details to a Clever Iterations server. See Apple’s privacy information.
4. Website and support
When you visit teenyloop.com, our hosting systems may process your IP address, request date and time, requested URL, browser information, referring page and response status to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website. The website has no advertising pixels, analytics scripts, signup forms or non-essential cookies.
If you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot, handle a privacy request or complaint, and maintain appropriate business records. Please do not send children’s personal information; a description or redacted example is usually enough.
5. How information is used and shared
We use information we receive to provide support, operate and secure our website, administer purchases and business records, meet legal obligations, and address misuse or disputes. We do not sell personal information or use support contacts for marketing unless you separately ask or consent.
Information may be handled by hosting, email, IT and professional service providers working for us, or disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security. We limit information to what is relevant. Apple handles information independently for its own services.
6. Overseas processing
Our service providers may process information in Australia, the United States and other countries where they operate. Apple operates globally. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps and use appropriate safeguards for overseas disclosures as required by law.
7. Retention and security
We retain support communications and business records only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose, security, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Website request and security logs are rotated under our server’s retention settings; we may preserve relevant records for a security incident or legal requirement.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information we hold. No system is completely secure. Protect your device and Apple Account. Uninstalling Teenyloop removes its local app data but does not cancel or refund an Apple purchase, and Apple may retain its own records.
8. Children
Teenyloop is designed for an adult and child to share. It does not collect children’s personal information through story play. The grown-up check restricts access to purchases and external links; it is not a request for personal information or consent to collect it. If you believe we have received a child’s information in a support message or otherwise, contact us so we can assess and address it.
9. Your rights and complaints
You may ask for access to or correction of personal information we hold, or request deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Where EU or UK law applies, our grounds may include providing requested services, legitimate interests in support and security, legal obligations or consent where needed. We assess requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
Contact our Privacy Officer first. We aim to acknowledge complaints within five business days and provide a substantive response within 30 days, subject to applicable legal timeframes. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or your relevant EU or UK supervisory authority.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app, services or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated. Material changes will be communicated where required.
